West Sand Lake, a census-designated place in Nassau County, is home to multiple people who are suffering from alcohol addiction. We wish to see everyone suffering from alcohol use disorder achieve effective recovery. To achieve this, we take some steps, one of which is organizing a directory of all local NY AA meetings, making it easier for people to locate one around them. You will find a list of AA meetings in West Sand Lake and other cities on our site. The list is up to date and it is sorted by city. Full recovery from alcohol use disorder may be difficult without help from others. AA meetings give you the needed support if you desire to quit drinking. The recovery of members of the Alcoholics Anonymous community happens in an environment where they are not criticized or discriminated against. Rather, they are shown love and they are encouraged to stay sober. It is a mutual support environment where new members are encouraged but not forced to discuss their addiction. People who have had similar experiences share how they dealt with the situation. There are different types of NY AA meetings. Your friends and family may join you in an open meeting but only members of the AA community are allowed in a closed AA meeting.
