Godley, TX
Named after a lumber merchant in the late 19th century is the Northwestern Johnson County city of Godley. Alcoholics Anonymous is a global community established in 1935 to tackle alcohol addictions, substance use disorder, and alcohol disorders. Alcohol addiction has done so much damage to a significant number of people, and only a few ever get the chance to turn things around. Alcoholics Anonymous efforts have increased the chances of people facing addiction challenges to get back on their feet and pursue their hopes and dreams. Since its inception in 1935, AA Texas has had a good success rate and recorded some very amazing transformations. AA meetings in Godley are a fellowship of people: those who have recovered from addictions and others healing too at different paces. They offer support and encouragement to participants, therapy sessions, counseling, and a serene environment. The 12 step approach employed in these meetings helps achieve significant results, along with post-treatment programs. Addiction treatments usually begin with alcohol detoxification at an inpatient center, and then medications are administered to participants. Therapy sessions are available either as open or closed sessions, depending on the individual. You can find out more information about AA meetings in Godley on our directory.
