Del Rio is the county seat of Val Verde County. Alcohol addiction is one of the few threats to humans that can affect nearly every facet of life including, social, emotional, physical, financial, etc. It could get worse with time if the correct method is not used to tackle it. Alcohol addiction has recently become one of the main causes of avoidable deaths in the U.S. Attending an AA meeting is one of the best ways to address alcohol addiction. Many years ago, AA meetings were established. Millions of people have been supported to lead a good life and achieve sobriety, but there are still millions out there who suffer from addiction. AA meetings in Del Rio respectfully welcome new members and make them comfortable enough to be able to share their story of alcohol addiction without fear of criticism. At AA Texas meetings, different events occur, but everything is aimed at inspiring members to handle the problems of staying sober and embracing a new life. To meet different people’s needs, there are different kinds of AA meetings. As its name suggests, the Open AA meeting is open to individuals who are not part of the community, but the closed meeting is for members of the AA community only.
