  • Do you have new information about an AA meeting? Please let us know!

Bowie is a town in Montague County, Texas, United States. While this city has some amazing scenery and nice spots, some recent cases of alcohol addiction have occurred in the city. The AA community started AA meetings in Bowie to promote the healing process of people struggling with addiction. AA meetings provide an atmosphere so pleasant that individuals with alcohol use disorders freely discuss their excessive drinking. AA Texas Meetings give the chance for people on the same path of recovery to be in direct relationship with several other participants. Their experience of addiction is addressed and solutions are found. The meetings provide an effective 12-Step program that encourages the accountability of its participants and offers them a chance to continue the recovery process. A spiritual transformation that helps group members to aim to form a good mentality through meditation and prayer and which causes them to view life differently can be encouraged by attending some AA meetings. The meetings do not, however, impose on the members any religious practices. It is free to take part in an AA meeting. The only necessary condition is the commitment to staying sober. We have made a list of all AA Texas meetings in a directory as part of a larger move to assist in the recovery of people affected by alcohol dependence, and we have organized the directory by city to simplify things.
