Lincoln Beach, Oregon AA Meetings

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship that has existed for a long time and has been a basis of support for many individuals that are suffering from Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). It is a voluntary, self-supporting community that is not related to any other organization in any part of the world. But, it cooperates with other institutions like hospitals and rehabilitation centers to provide its care to patients. The doors of AA Oregon are open to anyone regardless of condition severity and other personal issues. All that is required from a person wanting to be involved in this fellowship is the desire to stop the consumption of alcohol. The journey to recovery starts with a patient believing and admitting that there is nothing they can do on their own to prevent themselves from using alcohol and require spiritual help and guidance. This leads to the patients living out the remaining steps of “The Big Book” with the help of other fellow members, especially their sponsors. Sponsors are members that are skilled in knowing and executing the twelve steps in their lives. AA meetings in Lincoln Beach are places where a member can go to speak about their problems and receive help with the anonymity of their identity and what they share respected.
