Santa Fe, New Mexico AA Meetings

Santa Fe is not only the capital of New Mexico, but also a center of art and history in the southwest. The city has a wealth of resources for both tourists and residents, including an established Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) community to assist those who need support achieving and maintaining sobriety. The regional AA New Mexico branch organizes meetings throughout the state, allowing members to find meetings that meet their schedule and needs. The only requirement for joining AA is the goal to stop using alcohol. You do not need to have a formal alcohol addiction diagnosis, complete any evaluations or paperwork, or pay any fees to attend AA. You can attend whichever kinds of AA meetings most meet your current recovery needs. AA holds beginner’s meetings, demographic-specific meetings—such as men’s and women’s meetings as well as LGBTQ meetings, and meetings with specific topics, programs, and literature—such as the 12 Step program. Each meeting type offers you the opportunity to build a community with individuals who all share the goal of sustainable sobriety and are working toward that goal through common struggles, triumphs, and experiences. You may find new insight into your own recovery hearing how others tackle their challenges and celebrating your peers’ victories with them. AA meetings Santa Fe residents can attend are listed in the directory.
