Coldwater, Mississippi AA Meetings

Coldwater is a small, lovely, and quaint town in Tate County, Mississippi. Because its population is not so big, there are not a ton of AA meetings in Coldwater. Those living in the area may also have to look into other AA meetings in Mississippi. AA was originally founded in Akron, Ohio by Bill Wilson (Bill W.) and Dr. Bob Smith M.D. (Dr. Bob), in 1935. Arguably the most important piece of AA literature known as the Big Book was written by Bill W. and published in 1039. It’s clear that AA has made an impact amongst those with alcohol use disorder for quite a long time. While it is not for everybody, AA could be very helpful to you. Its many meetings are meant to provide a close-knit community of those with alcohol use disorder who can help each other along the road to recovery and also to give a stronger chance of not relapsing. That said, AA members do believe that relapse is a part of recovery, and does not judge its members should relapse occur. AA is not a substitute for formal rehab treatment. If you are looking for treatment outside of Coldwater, give our specialists a call today.
