Fridley, Minnesota AA Meetings

Incorporated in 1949 as a village, Fridley officially became a city in 1957. Fridley AA meetings are around to help individuals in the area with alcohol use disorder. AA in Minnesota, and across the country, is one of the foremost treatment options used to combat the alcohol addiction epidemic in America. Specific Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held every week in public venues, usually a church or a community center. AA revolves heavily around its famous 12 Steps of AA and is a peer-to-peer support system for those attempting to recover from AUD. There are no membership dues or fees and the only true requirement to join AA is to have the desire to stop using alcohol. At AA meetings, members are encouraged to share their personal experiences with AUD and recovery. Sharing can be beneficial to both the person who shares and the people who listen. Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are not religious. The organization is not affiliated with a specific religion and they welcome people of all faiths. Despite being a great source of support, AA is not a formal rehab treatment. No professionals work within the organization, which is completely member-run. For help with formal rehab treatment options outside Fridley AA meetings, give our specialists a call.
