Delano, Minnesota AA Meetings

Delano is a relatively small city in Wright County, in the US state of Minnesota, and is part of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Alcoholics Anonymous is a global network that was established to assist persons in obtaining and maintaining sobriety which may ultimately result in the individuals being able to regain health and stability in their daily lives. The organization seeks to achieve this task by assisting persons affected to locate treatment centers, such as alcohol rehab, alcohol detox program, and dual diagnosis treatment which are held close to their locations. At the AA meetings in Delano, persons experiencing issues with alcohol use disorders can gain access to these meetings via a local directory listing which gives information on the various locations, times, and dates of meetings. There is also a reference that is provided by the Alcoholics Anonymous website referring persons to the various treatment centers, rehab centers, dual diagnosis, and detox programs. At the AA Minnesota meetings, the programs are sponsored and directed by previous members, who have voluntarily chosen the program of facilitating these members. These volunteers can relate to the members by giving exposure to their own experiences, guiding and entertaining the various activities of the meetings. They provide mentorship and inspiration to these persons who may have realized they are not alone in the struggle and that some people care and share their struggles. At the AA Minnesota meetings, open and closed meetings are accommodated, large and small group meetings, women’s and men’s meetings, and also spiritual meetings.
