Fort Kent, Maine AA meetings
Despite its name, Fort Kent, a major town in Aroostook County, Maine, is not fortified against alcohol use disorder. AA meetings in Fort Kent and other AA meetings in Maine aim to provide support and sympathetic judgement-free settings for people in the town or broader state who have alcohol use disorder. AA was founded in 1935 and places a great emphasis on its well-known 12-Step program. Outlined in the Big Book. The 12 Steps are a set of guidelines that AA members follow as part of their journey to recovery.
