Alpine Meadows is a bustling community located on Bear Creek. This unincorporated community is sited west of Tahoe City in Placer County, California. AA California meetings are now available in Alpine Meadows and environs. By offering reliable treatment solutions to indigenes of this community, Alcoholics Anonymous continuously helps them to solve the perennial problem of alcohol abuse. Members of AA meetings in Alpine Meadows remain ever committed to promoting effective recovery for individuals with alcohol use disorders. By organizing open AA meetings, members of this community are given the chance to participate fully in the recovery of their loved ones. Family, friends and well-wishers can join open meetings. This is necessary in order to support their loved ones as they withdraw from alcohol usage. Closed AA meetings are organized to help individuals who desire to overcome alcohol addiction have a personalized experience. At closed meetings, members get to share their problems with experienced mentors and get guided on the path to recovery. However, participation in closed meetings is restricted to members of Alcoholics Anonymous only. They also offer 12 Step meetings where members are guided on the path to healthy living through guidelines written in the book – 12 steps and 12 traditions. Virtual meetings are now available and place emphasis on improving accessibility of these meetings.
