St. Anthony, also known as St. Anthony Village, is a city located in Hennepin and Ramsey counties in Minnesota. AA Minnesota meetings employ the Big Book, Alcoholics Anonymous, as a primary resource for working the 12-Step program. The Big Book (as it is commonly called) was written by the AA founders, Bill W., Dr. Bob, and other early AA members. Bill W. had three years’ sobriety, and Dr. Bob was just shy of reaching his three-year recovery benchmark when they began writing the book.
