East Liverpool, Ohio AA Meetings

Due to the large number of potteries in the city, East Liverpool used to be known as the “Pottery Capital” of the United States before the ceramics industry evolved. The city in Columbiana County, Ohio, also has a history of alcohol addiction. Alcoholics Anonymous meeting points are established in the community to assist its residents who are struggling with alcohol use disorder. Alcohol use disorder (AUD) is a brain condition where, despite its negative effects, individuals still fail to regulate their alcohol consumption. Symptoms of AUD consist of a heavy urge to drink, drinking in dangerous scenarios, and excessive alcohol consumption to the point where it interferes with tasks the drinker enjoys taking part in. AUD can cause serious damage to an individual’s health and wellness, finances, social wellness, and relationships. Several studies have found that a combination of outpatient or inpatient therapy with involvement in 12-Steps programs have boosted results. Alcoholics Anonymous or AA originated the popular 12-Steps model. The international community-based organization helps men and women who are struggling with a dependency on alcohol to achieve long-term sobriety. AlcoholicsAnonymous.com groups all Alcoholics Anonymous Ohio meetings including AA meetings in East Liverpool. Our directory is updated on a regular basis.
