Put-in-Bay, Ohio AA Meetings

Found on South Bass Island in Put-in-Bay Township, Ottawa County, Ohio, United States, Put-in-Bay is a village flooded with individuals struggling with alcohol addiction and the side effects it comes with. Accordingly, to free individuals from their addiction, AA meetings are held regularly. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is an international, non profitable and self supporting fellowship of many men and women who have had drinking problems in the past and now are determined to help others become and stay sober. These meetings are available in many places including Put-in-Bay. Alcoholics Anonymous Ohio, like all AA communities, follows a carefully set guideline during meetings. It utilizes the 12 step approach and the 12 traditions. Even though the 12 steps are more of a spiritual approach, many non believers have found it helpful and productive during their road to sobriety. But unlike the 12 step approach, which is often personalized, the 12 traditions are defined in the Big Book: the main governing literature of Alcoholics Anonymous. AA meetings in Put-in-Bay create the perfect environment for members to share their experience and learn from their mistakes. These meetings not only help members become and stay sober but they also play a huge part in fixing old relationships and making new ones.
