Delaware, Ohio AA Meetings

Founded in 1808 and incorporated in 1816, Delaware is a city in and the county seat of Delaware County, Ohio. Like many other cities and communities in the United States, the city has established Alcoholics Anonymous programs that offer support to its residents who are struggling with a dependence on alcohol. Due to its high success rate and popularity, Alcoholics Anonymous or AA has become the best group support therapy treatment method for alcohol addiction. One of the major reasons why it has become the gold standard for alcohol addiction treatment is its 12-Steps and 12-Traditions principles. Both are outlined in “The Big Book,” which is deemed the organization’s “bible.” The ‘Personal Stories’ area of the book has actually motivated many members as well as attendees to pursue soberness. Part 1 of the book details 10 stories from participants from the early days of AA that overcame alcohol addiction after undergoing the program. Part 2 shares 17 stories of individuals who were on the brink of “hitting rock bottom” but were spared after attending AA meetings. Part 3 details 15 stories from previous AA members who suffered from serious consequences of alcohol addiction but regained control of their lives after finishing the AA program. You can find AA meetings Delaware as well as other Alcoholics Anonymous Ohio meetings from other areas in the state.
