Boylston, Massachusetts AA Meetings

Found in the County of Worcester, Boylston is a town in the state of Massachusetts flooded with individuals struggling with alcoholism. Consequently, to help individuals become sober, AA meetings are held frequently. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is an international, non profitable and self supporting fellowship of many men and women who have had drinking problems and are on the road to sobriety. These meetings are available in not only Boylston but in many places. AA Massachusetts follows the same measures while carrying out meetings. It follows the same 12 step approach and also the 12 traditions. Although the 12 step approach meetings are more spiritual, it doesn’t mean non-religious people don’t practice it. In fact many members who are non-religious have found it to be very helpful and productive while trying to achieve their goal to become and stay sober. But unlike the 12 step approach, which is more personalized, the 12 traditions are defined in the Big Book: the main governing literature of Alcoholics Anonymous. AA meetings in Boylston allow alcoholics to share their experiences, downfalls and hardships in order to get help and assistance in giving up alcohol. They also help alcoholics reconnect with their relatives and friends allowing them to mend their relationship.
