Berkeley, California AA Meetings

AA meetings Berkeley are now organized by Alcoholics Anonymous as part of its coordinated approach to resolving alcohol addiction and problem drinking in the American Community of Berkeley and beyond. These meetings are held in Berkeley, a city on the eastside of San Francisco Bay and which is also home to the University of California. Berkeley is located in the Northern Alameda County of Northern California. AA California oversees meetings at Berkeley which are organized by members of Alcoholics Anonymous in this community. Alcoholics Anonymous advises their members to join whichever meetings they feel at home with. Meetings happening across multiple venues in Berkeley can be found in an up-to-date Alcoholics Anonymous directory. Open meetings help members to develop confidence in themselves through voluntary experience sharing. They also promote members’ active participation in their recovery process. Closed meetings give members a more personalized experience. They have improved privacy features. One major difference between open meetings and closed meetings is that closed meetings are available to members only while anybody can join open meetings. There are other meeting options like virtual meetings for distant members, Candlelight meetings for fun-loving individuals and Beginner meetings which are recommended for new members in order to make them accustomed to the nature of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
