This Open meeting welcomes everyone, but especially the Newcomer seeking the Spiritual Solution offered through working the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. You can expect a wide variety of 15-20 minute guided meditations (suitable for beginning + advanced meditators). We say the Third, Seventh, and Eleventh Step prayers from AA approved literature, and have open podium (sharing at will) directly after the meditation. As this is a meditation meeting where disruptions are unwelcome, please send an email to [email protected] to receive the passcode. If interested, by sharing your email address to our gmail account, you may ask to receive the link to the meditation in advance of the meeting. Many of our regulars have strong, long-term sobriety, and are available to sponsor. We deeply honor and respect diversity, equity, and inclusivity. Open: Open AA meetings in California are informative in nature, designed for those seeking help for alcohol addiction and anyone interested in learning about the 12 step recovery model. Members are encouraged to share their stories and provide tips for recovery, helping observers learn more about how the program works and what their loved ones can expect.
