Types of AA Meetings

Open: Open AA meetings in Utah are not restricted to members only. Anyone from the public can attend to learn more about how the program works, what the 12 step recovery model includes, and how they can support someone they know with alcohol addiction. Members may share their personal stories and recovery journeys while non-members can listen and observe.

Wheelchair Access: Non-ambulatory clients in Utah may have wheelchair access for their AA meetings. The centers may have designated parking, exterior ramps, and open floor plans for safe navigation throughout the facility.

Women: Utah AA meetings for women are women-centered support group meetings for community members who are impacted by alcohol addiction - those who are suffering from alcoholism as well as those who have loved ones with alcohol addiction. Open for women of all ages to attend at no cost, these meetings offer peer support and are guided by a 12-step addiction recovery program.
